Job Purpose

The Customer Support Officer will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service delivery by handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. The role is critical to maintaining customer satisfaction, strengthening brand loyalty, and ensuring smooth communication between customers and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, social media, or in person.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Provide accurate product and service information to customers.
  • Process customer orders, returns, and refunds in line with company policies.
  • Record, track, and report customer interactions and feedback for management review.
  • Escalate complex customer concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in maintaining customer records and databases.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
  • Support promotional campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and data protection regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (OND/HND may be considered with relevant experience).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years experience in customer service or a related role (experience in food & hospitality industry is an added advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Good knowledge of Puff & Glaze Ltd. products and services (or willingness to learn quickly).
