The position available is that of a Ramp Agent based in the State of Maryland, specifically at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Ramp Agents at Southwest Airlines play a vital role in ensuring smooth ground operations that support the airline's flight schedules and customer service excellence. They work outdoors in various weather conditions, managing the movement and servicing of aircraft on the ramp and at terminals. This role requires personnel who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy interacting and collaborating with others to meet time-sensitive flight departure requirements. Ramp Agents handle the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, operate ground support equipment, and maintain the cleanliness and readiness of aircraft cabins.
