Come join us!  </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do as a Zero Trust Solutions Engineer</strong></p> <p>As a critical member of our Specialist Team, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor; helping clients find the best solution for their business needs via Cloudflare Developer Platform</p> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Guide qualified prospects through the Solution Design; showing them the key capabilities of the Cloudflare Developer Platform</li> <li>Drive Proof of Concept stages of the sales cycle with hands-on engagement, debugging capabilities and consistent internal and external communication</li> <li>Work with your Sales Partners to consistently achieve Pipeline and Revenue goals</li> <li>Take clients’ requirement, design the optimized Cloudflare Developer Platform solution for those requirements, and clearly communicate the benefits vs competing solutions, potential challenges and possible migration paths</li> <li>Support technical discussions on the Developer Platform, to ensure sound design and overcome objections. Understand, from a rigorous Computer Architecture perspective, the design of our system and communicate this to clients with varying levels of knowledge.</li> <li>Support go-to-market efforts through public speaking, hackathon, user group and conference attendances</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skill Requirements:</strong></p> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>3-5 years of prior Technical Sales, Computer Engineering, or related experience</li> <li>Solid technical understanding of Computer Architecture, JavaScript, and other key elements of our platform <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Computer Architecture; including a contextual understanding of its history and development. Clear understanding of the advantages to our Isolate technology vs Containers or VMs; and the differences between all three. </li> <li>Javascript; both practical (what can I build in it; what features should I use?) and comparative (how is it different from Python or C++?) perspective. Able to clearly articulate the differences between our runtime and Node.js or other common options.</li> <li>Other programming languages – knowledge and experience of other common languages is preferred. Python and Rust are especially helpful. </li> <li>Database technologies. Purpose of a database in systems architectures; advantages of distributed vs centralized models. Able to pick the right technology for a use case based on consistency models, latency scaling methods, etc.</li> <li>AI; High level understanding of trending AI use cases and their architectures; understanding of relevant players in the market and how they differ </li> </ul> </li> <li>Knowledge and experience of Systems Design <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>You’ve built a web application, either professionally or as a hobbyist, and will be able to explain your design choices clearly during the interview process</li> <li>Able to hear a clear, non-technical description of an Application (“It is a chat room, for our 150 most important users”) and quickly determine which Compute, Data, and Security components are needed to build this application</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Technical curiosity and passion: Cloudflare is at the cutting edge of internet technology, and our SSEs are viewed as subject-matter experts.
