Job Summary

Progressive Technology is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Assistant to manage and grow our presence on Instagram and Twitter (X). If you are passionate about social media trends, love crafting content that connects, and are driven by engagement and analytics, this role is perfect for you. You will support our marketing team in developing, scheduling, and optimizing posts to increase our online reach and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day posting and interaction on Instagram and Twitter accounts.

  • Develop engaging content including images, captions, polls, and hashtags aligned with our brand voice.

  • Schedule and publish posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or native platforms.

  • Monitor trends, memes, and viral content to incorporate into our strategy creatively.

  • Track metrics (likes, retweets, comments, reach, etc.) and report performance insights weekly.

  • Engage with followers—reply to DMs, mentions, and comments in a timely and professional manner.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams for campaigns and visuals.

  • Assist in running social media contests, giveaways, and collaborations.

  • Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates in our niche.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written English communication and copywriting skills.

  • Familiarity with Instagram and Twitter platform features, tools, and content formats.

  • Basic understanding of social media analytics (e.g., impressions, reach, CTR).

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Experience
