<p><b>The Business</b></p><p>UpStream Media, a digital studio based in West London, is recruiting for a <b>Junior YouTube Channel Manager</b>. UpStream Media is part of the Tinopolis Group, one of the UK’s largest independent television suppliers. UpStream Media owns a growing portfolio of YouTube and FAST channels, offering its client’s content management, security and monetization.</p><p>Reporting directly to a Senior Channel Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</p><ul><li>Running and curating Social channels across multiple brands using audience development strategies</li><li>Identify opportunities to maximise content exposure and value</li><li>Presenting content in a way that stops thumbs and catches eyes</li><li>Regularly using analytics data to improve content performance with an ability to react quickly to any platform changes</li><li>Sourcing, editing and curating content from an extensive library</li><li>Repurposing existing content for different platforms to help build the brands</li><li>Writing engaging copy which aligns with SEO best practices and brand guidelines</li><li>Ensuring weekly upload schedules are adhered to</li><li>Engaging with the community, subscriber base and chat moderation</li><li>Creating additional thematic video compilations and channel artwork</li><li>Researching trending topics and YouTube algorithms</li><li>Ensuring value of IP is maximised either through protection or monetisation</li></ul><p><b>The Candidate </b></p><ul><li>Previous experience with YouTube channel management</li><li>Strong attention to detail with impeccable spelling and grammar</li><li>Strong communication skills and a positive can-do attitude</li><li>Keen interest in viral and social media</li><li>Self-motivated with ability to manage priorities and deadlines</li><li>Strong communicator with ability to work with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of objectives</li><li>Strong organisational skills with experience of working in a fast paced environment on multiple projects at the same time</li><li>Experience with Adobe Photoshop / Premiere Pro</li><li>Knowledge of different video formats, video compression, sound/video synchronisation</li></ul><p><b>How to apply</b></p><p>To apply for the position, please send a covering letter and a copy of your CV to <b>info@upstream-media.co.uk </b>by <b>5th September 2025.</b></p><p>Please note:</p><ul><li><b>Only applications sent to info@upstream-media.co.uk will be considered.</b></li></ul><ul><li>Due to the high volume of responses we receive, it is not possible to reply to everyone.
