Establishing GitHub Copilot readiness and agentic foundations, including org-wide configuration (policies, IDE extensions, seat management)
Defining and implementing acceptable-use and data-boundary policies for AI assistants
Optimizing repository hygiene and code context (README, documentation, templates) to enhance AI support and guidance
Creating prompt patterns and workflow templates to standardize AI interactions
Instrumenting telemetry and monitoring to measure Copilot effectiveness, safety, and compliance
Delivering a small agentic proof-of-concept, focused on orchestrating tasks with robust guardrails, as a foundation for future automation solutions
Ideal Profile:

Senior Full Stack developers (not MLEs) with hands-on experience using and configuring AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
Strong track record in developing standardized code templates, documentation, and workflows for team-wide adoption
Experience in defining and operationalizing technical policies for AI and code automation
Capable of self-organizing, managing deliverables independently, and collaborating with minimal supervision
Ability to deliver reusable assets that boost developer productivity, code quality, and onboarding efficiency
Objectives:

Improve developer productivity and reduce PR cycle times
Ensure safe, compliant use of AI assistants through clear policies and monitoring
Enhance code quality and consistency via standardized templates and guidance
Accelerate onboarding for new developers by leveraging reusable prompt and workflow patterns
Deliver foundational assets to support agentic automation pilots in 2026, mitigating implementation risk
