We have an immediate need for two (2) Siemens Invision HIT Analysts for an 8+ month remote opportunity. This person will provide consulting services and work closely with the IT department on workflows, support, and will provide knowledge transfer to the team.


Experience Needed

  • Three or more years of hands-on Invision experience.
  • Deep understanding of mainframe technologies: Expertise in the specific mainframe subject area is crucial for troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly.
  • Proficiency in mainframe programming languages: COBOL and JCL are standard requirements.
  • Experience with mainframe databases: Knowledge of DB2, IMS DB, and VSAM is essential for addressing data-related problems.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues within the mainframe environment is paramount.,
  • Familiarity with system management tools: Knowledge of tools for monitoring, managing, and optimizing mainframe operations is crucial for proactive and reactive support.
  • Programming languages like COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, TSO/ISPF, SQL/Stored Procedures, and VSAM.
  • Understanding of mainframe utilities: Proficiency in various utilities used for tasks like sorting, copying, and file management is valuable for efficient problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of testing and test support: Experience with test support, including batch and online support and break-fix scenarios, is vital for on-call responsibilities.
  • Log analysis skills: The ability to analyze mainframe logs to find the root cause of issues is a key requirement.
  • Experience with incident management and ticketing systems: Familiarity with systems used to track and manage issues will help in efficiently responding to and resolving problems.
  • Understanding of infrastructure and configuration management: The ability to troubleshoot IT infrastructure systems and configurations is essential.
  • On Call Support required.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
