Key Responsibilities Transform complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect presentation-layer HTML5/CSS3 templates. Create responsive website designs that are compatible with multiple browsers and devices. Build websites with WordPress, extending and developing plugins and themes as needed. Work with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to create images optimized for the web. Use version control systems such as GIT/SVN to manage code changes and collaborate with team members. Work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. A thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and how to resolve them. Experience with media queries and responsive web design. Knowledge of CSS platforms such as Twitter's Bootstrap. The ability to multitask on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Great attention to detail and a highly organized work style. A positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly. Excellent written and spoken English. Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST. The ability to adapt to a diverse and multicultural environment. A reliable workstation with a fast computer, microphone, and speakers, as well as reliable internet and power. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX. Experience with WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and their associated technologies. Experience with web development frameworks and libraries.
