This position will work with physician offices, hospital laboratories, attorneys, and internal customers to ensure that all client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The Collections Specialist will provide product education, offer payment plan agreements, settlements and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience and meeting the goal of reducing >60day balances. The ideal candidate will be motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company.</span></span><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b>:  <br>•    Follow SOP’s reducing aging AR >60day balances.<br>•    Outreach to customers by phone, emails and/or letters.<br>•    Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner <br>•    Preparation for updates on resolution to various levels of leadership<br>•    Document all activities/attempts to reduce balances.<br>•    Preparation of placement packages for outside attorneys for possible litigation. <br>•    Communicate via telephone with a operations management, physicians, attorneys and internal customers. <br>•    Utilize tools to obtain better billing information<br>•    Performs research and evaluation of complex projects and assignments requiring advanced knowledge and experience to identify and measure process financial implications.<br>•    Analyzes and determines areas for improvement and education.</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b>:<br>•    High School Diploma or equivalent required.</p><p>•    Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience required.</p><p>•    Prior call center, customer service, collections, or healthcare billing-related work experience strongly preferred.</p><p>•    Prior work experience with meeting deadlines and weekly goals strongly preferred.</p><p>•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to Excel, is strongly preferred.<br>•    Ability to compile and organize data preferred.</p><p>•    Critical thinking skills and a basic understanding of medical and computer skills preferred.</p><p>•    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively preferred.</p><p></p><p><b>Remote Work/Technical Requirements:</b></p><p>•    Dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.<br>•    Internet download speed of at least 50 Mbps.
