Responsibilities H.W. Kaufman Group and its largest business unit, Burns & Wilcox, is replacing or retooling its application portfolio to integrate our suppliers, clients, and employees using Salesforce/Vlocity, MuleSoft, Azure, and multiple other endpoints with real-time and near real-time interfaces. This is a high-visibility and transformative initiative for the Kaufman companies. This is a junior level/remote role part of our pair programming team, eventually becoming a full-stack developer. Salesforce is the focus, and we will train. Will have the opportunity to learn other technology stacks such as MuleSoft, .Net depending on projects assigned. Responsibilities * The Salesforce Developer is responsible for collaborating with a team of IT professionals in understanding and supporting the businesses through the design, development and implementation of Salesforce applications, application enhancements, and new platform capabilities * Translates business and technical requirements into solution designs that satisfy the business needs and comply with approved standards. Reviews functional specifications, creates detailed technical design and technical specifications. * Ensures development activities are aligned with scope, schedule, priority, and business objectives * Oversees code development and unit and performance testing activities. * Responsible for the development lifecycle from analysis and design to configuration, coding, testing, and deployment while adhering to current System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes * Perform and/or assist others in validating the solution performs as expected. This includes and is not limited to system integration testing, performance testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing and defect remediation. * Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in the system Qualifications * Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent work experience required * Salesforce experience is not required; any object-oriented programming language experience is acceptable * 1+ years of professional development experience, or 0 years & a computer science degree * Looking for great attitude, willingness to work in a group, team player, participate in pair programming as the primary work pattern and willingness to become a full-stack developer About Our Company H.W.
